I’m sure you’re familiar with the Woody Allen quote, “If you want to make God laugh, tell Him about your plans.”
This seems very appropriate for me, as I prepared for 2013 with daily schedules and a list of resolutions. And then, on Jan. 2, I woke up sicker than sick with a virus. I’ve been out of commission since then – and have passed my germs onto the rest of my family, too.
Because I’ve been trying to get better in a home full of sick people, my planned post for today didn’t get written. You can check out a guest post my husband and I co-authored for A Biblical Marriage, though – ironically, it’s about Setting Goals by Dreaming Big. Tomorrow I’ll be back as usual with a post confessing my stewardship weaknesses.
Do you know an expectant of first-time parent? Help them navigate the first year of feeding their baby with my eBook, First Bites: How To Instill Healthy Eating Habits During Your Baby’s First Year.

If you're searching for ways to live a healthier life that honors God, yet you're not incredibly environmentally conscious, then you're in the right place. While I try to glorify God and use my ten years of journalistic experience to create a healthy home for my family, most of my choices just tend to be green ... quite accidentally. – Hilary
